The College is a non-residential teacher training institution with academic endeavours spanning a very broad spectrum of academic disciplines in education including core as well as elective subjects taught at the basic education and post basic education levels of the Nigerian educational system. These academic disciplines are organised in seven schools by departments and six centres as presented in Tables 1 & 2.
